Lets see… Where should I start? What could I possibly say? That will justify the significant part that women play, throughout each and everyday. Yet to many it may not seem quite that way! In a Man’s world the history books just won’t show… That behind every accomplished man stands a female pillar portraying the role of hero!
Her continuous sacrifices shall make her strong… Despite being a single mother, portraying the double role of parenthood she still carries on. Surpassing trial after trial with unheard screams, and unseen cries. Self silenced by hope, that is hardly ever voiced aloud. Sentenced and judged by man. Death by fire, disfigured by stones, and hanged from up high before a ravenous crowd.
A woman can do so much with so little, slightly overwhelmed she does more than she is able. With her husband at sea, a Super mom she must be. Maintaining her home all alone while keeping the family stable. When her family is sick she has the remedy for every possible symptom. So why is it in every story she plays the role of victim?
The one true love, the hero’s damsel in distress. She is more qualified than her male counterpart, and often paid less… “By the way… in the next scene we need to see more of your breast!” Did you know that in the not so distant past rape was almost second nature. Women wouldn’t report it. Why would they even bother? She went through hell, but she still wouldn’t tell. Because the Crime was against her husband, or her father.
Women are our teachers, guides, backbones, nurturers, and our best friends when one has needs. They have the strength to protect, understand, aid, and forgive all of our previous misdeeds.
So let us all remember that a woman is like the sun’s shine, she is vast and always present throughout the duration of time. Her presence is sweet like the morning dove. For she is forever… like, what we call Love! In the end it is on her that we depend, the love of our lives and most trusted friend. More recognition of her journeys are just around the bend. Give mankind some time so that we can allow your hearts to mend.
